A few more Little Adventurers!!

Esme

There has recently been a new arrival in the family. My cousin's son has just had baby number 2! I haven't met her yet, but Esme looks very cute!! I cut into some 12x12 cardstock and found the gorgeous swirl, which I stamped, embossed and glittered. The letter circles were from a recent QVC purchase.
It made a lovely change to do something like this after my rather formulaic boy cards of late.
OK, now back to the Little Adventurers!!

More Little Adventurers!!

I've been whizzing through my Little Adventurers kit. Here are a few more cards!!

Little Adventurers - Pirates

Yo Ho Ho!!! More Little Adventurer cards! Pirates, dolphins and sharks abound!!

Tuesday, April 21

Little Adventurers - Spacemen

Today it's spacemen!! As well as the decoupage figures, there are also stickers that come with the kit which are big enough to warrant a card on their own. With 3 sheets of A4 backing paper for each theme there is more than enough for extra cards.

Little Adventurers - Cavemen

I've been having great fun with the 'Little Adventurers' decoupage kit.  There are lots of different 'boy' themes. Today it's cavemen!

70th Birthday

I've been out to lunch today at a surprise party for my aunt and uncle who both celebrate their 70th birthday this week.
I was a bit stumped as to what to do for a card until I found this fab piece of turquoise paper with glittery stars. (It's probably a Christmas paper, but who cares!!)
I made a tri fold A5 card using the edge of the paper to create a border. Glittery chipboard letters for the numbers and initials. - I added more glitter with sparkly embossing powder.
The next inside layer has embossed paper, acetate swirls, gem flowers and glittery stuff.
The inside is a different turquoise paper in the middle with more embossed paper.

Patchwork fairies

At the end of a recent fairy card fest I was left with a load of backing paper scraps. They were a fairy themed but in different coloured, so I created patchwork backgrounds for fairy, along with a stamped sentiment and a bit of ribbon. Simples!!

Little Adventurers

I recently bought the 'Little Adventures' decoupage kit from QVC. There are 24 fun characters which are great for boy cards.

The kit also comes with stickers and backing papers. I've made the first set of cards using just the decoupage characters, some of the backing papers and a rub on greeting. All the matting and layering is using mirri card and scrap card and paper.
I've got loads left to make more cards using the backing papers and the stickers!

Sunflowers

I found a piece of sunflower wrapping paper lurking in my stash so it got made into cards!! I'm very into mirri card and rub ons at the moment!! (And once again I took the pictures once they were in bags hence the weird reflections!)

Bits and bobs

Had a break from the decoupage and made some cards from scraps. Makes a change to make some cards more for grown ups. (Sorry, forgot to takes photos before I bagged them!)
